Thinkfrill’s La Coffer subscription box: Review

Periods tend to bring out the worst in me. I am irritated, always on the verge of yelling at someone and in pain. I go on an ice cream and fried food binge that bloats me up and makes me feel guilty which certainly does not improve my mood. I am sure this something that all of us face. In the past few years, I have seen that brands are recognizing the fact that women love to be pampered during their periods and this has lead them to create some amazing period subscription boxes for us.
La Coffer is the newest and I must the smartest kid on the block when it comes to period subscription boxes. Let me introduce you to them. 🙂

What is La Coffer by ThinkFrill?
La Coffer is our first subscription box which is a period subscription box, or a menstrual care box. A subscriber can customize her sanitary supplies and choose delivery dates according to her cycle. Apart from sanitary supplies, we also feature a host of other products in the box, such as Beauty products, Hygiene Products, Body Care products, Tea, Snacks, Chocolates and Candies, because our aim is to pamper women during their period.
But what makes ThinkFrills’s La Coffer different?
The fact that they allow you to customize your box completely! Have a look.


You can opt for Duchess, Princess or the Queen Coffer or if you are want to save a little, just go fort their regular Coffer. You get to choose sanitary supplies from your favourite brand and you have the full freedom to choose the quantity you want.  

What did you get in your Duchess and Queen Coffer in June?

I got some amazing things for sure! But instead of listing it out why don’t I show them to you?

The Duchess Coffer is for the times when you want to be a little indulgent but a little practical, too. It came with these lovely goodies and some amazing tea which, I drank immediately on receiving the box.

 The Queen Coffer is meant to pamper you to the fullest. They send you some make up, something for skin care and of course sanitation. I loved the Yoga Bar they sent me along with the sour candy and tea bags.  

Is it worth buying Thinkfrill’s La Coffer?
Yes, yes and yes! La Coffer is a splendid subscription service because of the range of options that they offer you. You can decide at the beginning of the month which box you would want to opt for. I often go in these phases when I am absolutely broke and in phases where I absolutely love spending on myself. I think La Coffer would be perfect for my many moods.

My shopping experience with Augrav.com

First things first, Augrav has a wide range of innovative concepts and it is quite reasonably priced. I had great fun going through their collection but the section that caught my eye “Design your own”

One can choose any reference image from the internet and send it to Augrav for customization. How cool is that? Their website is very well designed and it is easy to browse through their collection.
Coming to my experience of shopping with them; I must admit that I was very apprehensive of ordering a ring online. The sizes can be nightmarish to figure out and if you order a personalized ring, you cannot return it. Thankfully, Augrav had a great chart that explained the process of getting your ring size right.

My order arrived within 5 days of placing it and I was quite pleased with the packaging and the cute note that accompanied it.

A hint of Bollywood in every home with Asian Paints Colour Store

From a quaint gramophone to a revolving wall that changes from Spiderman to other cartoon characters, from plush stuffed chaises to vibrant walls; leaving me unattended at the Asian Paints signature Colour store in Bandra is akin to leaving a child in a candy shop.
‘Beautiful’unfortunately seems to be inadequate to describe this marvellous store and I won’t waste any more time thinking of new adjectives. The Colour Store was set up with the sole aim to educate consumers about how they can revamp their spaces with a little help of colours and pretty designs. This Asian Paints store loves to engage with its consumers and hosts some unique workshops on events. With the World Interiors day around the corner, they hosted a workshop with Production Designer, Shruti Gupte on drawing inspiration from popular film sets. 

An intriguing theme isn’t it? I was curious to listen to Shruti as she ran us through the process of creating a home for films. With a marvellous eye for details as well as research that she put in to the design so that the set matches the mood, tone and the back story of the characters; Shruti’s session left me spell bound.

 Peppered within the talk were a few tips for us home owners which I felt would be helpful for all of us:
Shruti believes that soft, warm lights are an essential for every home
Plants and flowers (even if they are artificial) can add a personal touch to your space and will also give you a beautiful pop of colour.
Visualization is key to redecorating your space; you should know what you want and should not hesitate from making a collage of sorts of all the things you think will lift up your space.


After this wonderful session, she conducted a small activity with us and asked us to create a mood board for our homes.
Shruti ended the workshop with these words, “We as consumers need to make ourselves the heroes and heroines of our own movie scripts. Colors and textures are not to be feared but embraced as part of our personality. Our personal and professional environments are an extension of our personality and should inspire our days, help create memories or convey our aspirations. If the movies take inspiration from our reality, then why shouldn’t we allow those reel-ties to become our reality? It’s a simple decision to step out of our comfort zone and experiment. Especially these days, when Asian Paints Colour Store allows us to realize our dreams before we choose to make it permanent.”


After the workshop, I decided to explore the store a bit and I continued to be impressed with the different mockups and experiential features they had for different products which would help us choose better. It was a day well spent and I am sure my home is going to thank me when I implement all the great ideas I had in the Aisan Paints Colour Store.
