Why Should You Insure your Car?

My car symbolizes freedom because it was the only big purchase I made for myself after my first job. It made me feel all grown up and I would love to zip around the town to show it off to one and all.

I have to say that my car is dearer to me than all the other things I have ever bought.

One important lesson I learnt early on that I would virtually get a heart attack every time my car got a teeny tiny scratch and that is why; it was prudent for me to invest in car insurance.
After spending days on the internet, trying to figure out what is the best for my baby, I came to one conclusion. Given the risks we put our cars at, and the advantages of the Bharti AXA car insurancepolicy, it is only wise for one to take a better scheme which offers more benefits to the insured car.
Over and above the damage cover, third party liability, and personal accident cover facilities provided by any ordinary policy cover, the Bharti AXA car insurance policy offers customized add on covers which can be purchased based on the particulars of a car, its age/usage, and the location.
Among the key Add-on covers are the Depreciation Cover which provides up to 100% coverage on certain parts of your car, and the Consumables Cover which covers regular costs that are otherwise not covered. Bharti AXA car insurance recommends these add-ons if you own a car less than 5 years old.
The Road Side Assistance is of ultimate use to those who feel handicapped during untoward instances of a flat tyre, breakdown, out of fuel, or even when you cannot find the keys to your car, etc. This Cover is of great help for all car owners.
With increasing cases of cities and towns facing floods every monsoon, your car is no less susceptible to get sick as are you. If your engine catches contact with more water than it normally can do with, it is prone to get sick and damaged. A standard insurance policy wouldn’t cover such repair or replacement costs. Keeping in mind that repair costs are very high, Bharti AXA car insurance brings to you the Hydrostatic Lock Cover which covers costs incurred upon damage caused to the engine due to rain water.

I think it is safe to say that I am going to put my trust and invest in car insurance and I am sure it will protect my darling car better than anyone else.

About Munni of all Trades

We remember the day seven years back when were travelling in a Mumbai local trying hard to come up with a name for our blog when struck us; Khushboo was always called a Jack of all Trades. The name stuck (with a slight modification, of course) and Munni was born. Six years, over 100 collaborations, lakhs of readers and several awards later; our love for blogging continues to grow. We continue to write on an eclectic range of topics from the funniest autorickshaw signs that we have spotted in Mumbai to how to bathe an elephant. We are true blue Munni of all Trades and we hope to continue on this joyride with our fellow Munnis and Munnas. Read More
