Oriflame HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner: Review

Hey all,
My hair is on strike for quite some time now and understandably so. You see, I am treating my tresses very cruelly by inflicting upon them hard water! I had been travelling most of January and a good part of February, too in rural areas and loving my hair was the last thing on my mind. So, in order to appease them and to bring their former glory back, I started using the HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner.

About HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo
A daily shampoo that cleans hair without stripping it of moisture, helping make damaged hair look and feel nourished, healthy and shiny. Formulated with Argan Oil, which offers extra care for dry and brittle hair.
Price Rs. 379 for 250 ml
About HairX Restore Therapy Conditioner
A daily conditioner that softens and nourishes hair, helping to reduce damage caused by excessive combing. Formulated specifically for damaged hair with Argan Oil to offer extra care for dry, brittle hair
Price 349 for 200 ml

Ingredients

My Review
Beauty bloggers across the world swear by Argan Oil and I was really excited that it was a major ingredient in the HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. For any product that one uses, fragrance is the first thing that you notice. Sadly for me, I was not quite impressed with this products aroma. It smelled a little fruity to me and that is something I did not quite like.
However, after my hair wash, I was so impressed by the results that I decided that I could live with slightly fruity fragrance. The first thing I liked about the HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo was the fact that it can clear off oil in the first wash itself thus saving me a lot of time. Generally, I have to wash my hair twice to get the desired resukt. So brownie points to the shampoo for saving my time in the mornings when I am late for work. The conditioner I let it stay on my hair for a good 5 minutes so that my hair would get the maximum nourishment. After two weeks of using this shampoo and conditioner duo regularly, I started feeling a slight difference in my hair texture. My hair did not return to its usual bouncy self but it definitely went from brittle to strong.
A word of caution to those reading this review; I have used this shampoo with hard water during my travels. The results may slightly vary if you use regular water.
So what is my verdict? The HairX Restore Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner was quite successful in restoring my crowning glory and I love the fact that it enriched my hair with the goodness of argan oil. Its fragrance can be much better but I am not going to let this little grouse stand in the way of stronger hair. This duo was a great company during my travels and I fully intend to use it regularly for long term results.

Any hair product with argan oil is a must have for me, especially since my hair is very prone to friziness.

I always find Argan Oil to be very effective on hair. I haven't heard about this therapy shampoo though, nor the brand. But this looks promising.
