My mom, my alarm and I battle daily; it starts at 6:30 am when my alarm decides to shrilly shake me awake and pulls me away from my sweet little dreams.
Round 1 always goes to me because I manage to either throw the alarm on the floor to shut it up or pull out the batteries.
But in Round 2 my wonderful alarms brings in reinforcements a.k.a. my Maa.
And thus I start my morning snarling and swearing (only mann mein otherwise mom would kill me) as I pick up my toothbrush to clean my teeth.
But off late, I have decided to bring about a change in my attitude to this whole thing. I am trying to make my bad mornings, my gold mornings using these 3 simple techniques.
Sleep early
One thing that I have realized that the only reason I am so cranky every morning is that I don’t sleep on time. I stay up till the wee hours of morning on my laptop and am yawning away to glory every time I have a morning meeting. So for the past few days, I have started sleeping around 11 every day and I find that I am much more relaxed in the mornings.
See something beautiful the minute you open your eyes
Dull drab walls is all I would see when I got up everyday and this would really annoy me. That is when I decided to take things in my hand! I decorated my room beautifully especially the wall that I see every morning with my favourite things! Somehow seeing something cheerful every time I wake up would instantly bring a smile to my face and make my hum songs instead of muttering curses.
Pampering myself with some sparkle
We girls love bling and why should our toothbrushes be any different? A glamourous golden toothbrush is definitely a perfect way to make your teeth and your day to sparkle.
As Colgate says, “Wake up to a Gold Morning; every morning; with Colgate 360° Charcoal Gold: Not only is it stunning in the way it looks, but also in the way it cleans your teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums. No wonder, it’s
the Gold Standard of Whole Mouth Cleaning.”
After using Colgate 360° Charcoal Gold I must say that this toothbrush is not all beauty; it has some useful features, too! The fact that it is so pretty to look at definitely gives it brownie points! #Colgate360Mornings

I totally agree with “See something beautiful the minute you open your eyes”. I'm still not finish decorating my new room though. haha
Not a biggg fan of gold though. But wouldn't mind a gold toothbrush 🙂
