Officially, it is monsoon on paper, but the last few days keep reminding me of the Mumbai summers where the sun would shine brightly and I would enjoy some ofmy freshest and tastiest meals. Last weekend, I decided to go ahead and indulge myself in the hippest food that I had this summer! Have a look J
I logged on to my favourite website, Foodpanda.in to order a delicious hatke meal.
I logged on to my favourite website, Foodpanda.in to order a delicious hatke meal. I went through Box 8’s menu and placed an order for Peshawari Chole, Subz Handi, a tikka sandwich, a bottle of chaas and moong dal for dessert!
(Hope you found the FoodPanda bear to be cute! It has been hand drawn by my friend Anmol!)
You must have noticed that I did not order any rice or chapattis to go with it. Well, that’s because I find them to be a little too heavy on summery days. I rather have a bowlful of sabji than anything else.
And before you start questioning me about the paneer tikka sandwich, lemme tell you it was for my little sister who prefers sandwiches for summer!
The sandwich, though mayo heavy, was delicious according to my sis and contained lots of fresh veggies. She washed her meal down with a glass of refreshing chaas.
This is my meal! Mushrooms, corn and capsicum sabji with a healthy portion of choley.
One thing that is common amongst us Indians is that we are big time chocoholics and often end up ignoring other desserts.
For the summers, I personally prefer fruit desserts and that is why; I decided to go ahead with a mango mousse along with a walnut brownie. A refreshing change from our regular pastries I must say!
A happy and satiated me wants to send all her love to Foodpanda for making it so easy to order the hippest food for the summer with a few simple clicks 🙂
