I am a complete foodie who loves to cook! But there are days when all I want to do is plonk myself on the couch and not even look at the kitchen. That is why I say that take aways have been the saviour of my life! Over the years, I have made a list of best joints in Mumbai for takeaway food and I wanted to share it with you.
Shayan Italia did Mumbaikars a huge favour when he decided to open Biryani360, home to a mouth watering, delightful and healthy meal; Biryani with raita of course! He uses no preservatives or excess oil to cook, yet his Biryani never fails to amaze me! The Biryani is hot and fresh and makes a extremely satisfying meal after a long day at work. A perfect takeaway food for the days you want to have something yummy yet healthy.
There are days when you want to go all out fancy and there are days when all you want to do is have something spicy and deliciously unhealthy. So, if you are in mood to indulge a little, do drop by into a Tibbs franky near you to get some sumptuous rolls. Tawa Paneer Frankie and Cheese Frankie are my personal favourite.
Got you at the name didn’t I? Well it is definitely a take away option for people on the go. They make killer burgers and their portions are HUGE! I never am able to eat it all on my own. Veg Big Cheese burger and Paneer cheese logs are two things that you must try out! You will love it.
Inarguably one of the best restaurants in Mumbai and a great take out joint, too, Kofuku will floor anybody who loves Japanese food. It has authentic flavours and a great menu that includes vegetarian options, too. Its portions are decent and the prices won’t burn a hole in your pocket. So if you are in mood for some sushi platter or Pork Ramen you know where to go
The Baker’s Table
If you are in the mood to have something sweet and sinful, walk into The Baker’s Table and sample their specials. Their red velvet cake is to die for as are the various chocolaty creations. They change the menu every few months and have never failed to surprise me. Do give it a try. 🙂
So these were my suggestions for places that offer great takeaway in Mumbai!
