The big zero, the angry red mark, zit or the PIMPLE is the bane of existence of millions of boys and girl but not me. I was a very lucky teenager. Some might say that I had won a skin care lottery when I was being created because I never got a pimple all through my teenage years. So when my friends would be busy obsessing about the angry little pimples, I would toss my head and happily proclaim, “Aren’t I the luckiest girl in the world”. I bet at that time, the Pimple man must be puffing and fuming as he could just not get a hold on my skin but today, he must be grinning happily. You see, the day I hit 20, my face started sprouting pimples out of nowhere.
Suddenly all spotlight was on me. People would wonder how the girl who survived pimples in her teenager years is suddenly getting them now?
I would keep asking people whether my pimples were REALLY visible. They were really visible 🙁
And then I started acting like a crazed hormonal girl. This is what I did.
I used all homemade remedies from applying aloe vera gel to toothpaste to dry out the pimples.
I would spend time standing in front of the mirror looking at how big the pimple had grown.
I constantly tried to bribe and threaten God so that he would make this curse go away
I would refused to be photographed with my ugly pimples
I would keep poking it and pinching it in the hope that it would go away.
I imagined all sorts of things that The Big Zero team must be doing. Including indulging in evil laughter and talking about its invincibility.
At one point of time, all that I talk to my girlfriends about were my never ending pimples. I am sure the Big Zero, the God of all pimple creating bacteria must be grinning nastily at my predicament. This is what he must be thinking.
I tried each and every face wash available in the market but none, I repeat none lived up to their promise until one day, I came across the Garnier Pure Active Neem Facewash while walking down the aisle in the super market. Even though my brain had given up any hope getting a cure for my pimples, my heart made me reach to my wallet and purchase it.
Then began the most important phase in my life. The battle between Garnier Pure Active Neem a.ka.The Hero and the Pimples a.k.a.The Big Zero. The battle field was my face and the war played out day and night.
Twice a day I would use the face wash and let its goodness kill the dirty little germs playing truant on my face.
Check out my technique.
Taking Garier Pure Active Neem Facewash with a smile.
Gently applying it on my skin
Getting a rich lather
Washing it off with lukewarm water
Patting my skin dry
The battle went for a long time!
The Big Zero: Hah, you think a face wash can harm me?
The Hero: I have been specially created for acne and pimple prone skin and am full of natural ingredients. Yes, I will definitely harm you but not the gentle skin.
The Big Zero: So you’ve managed to stop new pimples from coming but my oldies are too good for you
The Hero: I have anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. I can protect the skin easily.
The Big Zero: I am bringing in reinforcements. Dirt, oil and everything else that will defeat you!
The Hero: I have the power of Neem Leaf and Tea Tree oil; we can take down anybody
The Big Zero: I’ m being betrayed by my own people. They are running away
The Hero: My 3 purifying actions – fighting germs, deep cleansing pores to remove impurities caused by pollution and washing away excess oil which can attract dirt, germs and bacteria are no match for you
The Big Zero: I give up! I cannot fight you Garnier.
I am happy to report that the team Heroes led by Garnier Neem Pure Active Face Wash won. Let’s have a round of applause for the winner, shall we.
BTW Garnier Neem Pure Active and I lived happily ever after with clear, pimple free and gorgeous skin.
