I cannot imagine getting through the day with a cuppa of tea for breakfast, a gazillion cups of coffee while I work and sinful hot chocolate in the night as I curl up with my favourite a book. You see, I do not discriminate between beverages, I love them all. And just last week, I came across a wonderful website, beveragewala.com that stocks premium tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Here’s what I ordered.
Maltesers Malty Chocolate Drink
The Indian Bean Frowner’s Coffee
Girnar 3 in 1 Coffee
Lopchu Darjeeling Tea
Deha’ Organic Chai
Before I tell you my experience with the website, lets get to know Beveragewala better.
Beveragewala, as the name suggests, is your online provider of premium beverages, particularly teas and coffees, right at your doorstep in India. We feel that with India opening up to globalization, a lot of brands are slowly entering the market and are not very readily available. We wish to provide these to our highly esteemed customers to offer a solution which involves supplying the best products with utmost ease.
I love the look and feel of this website and I think it is really well designed. I have one little grouse, though. They need to have a separate section for hot chocolate. Currently, it is merged with the coffee section. Nevertheless, its navigability is really good. I like the fact that they have created separate sections within the broader framework of teas and coffee so that it is easy to sort between decaffeinated coffee, organic coffee and so on.
Their product selection is really great and currently, they have 35 brands and 400 products available. Isn’t that remarkable? For a tea and coffee lover, this website is definitely a paradise.
They have a few other interesting features like beveragepedia, which is yet to be updated and a gifting section where one can choose tea and coffee hampers from Rs. 200 onwards.
Their loyalty program is decent and you get 25 points for signing up. If you fill their feedback survey, you will also be eligible for a 10% discount for your next purchase.
Now, coming to order delivery. They offer free shipping for order over Rs. 750, which I personally think is a little too high. I hope that in the future it will be Rs. 500 like other online retailers.
I placed the order on 11th November and it was delivered on the 17th in a sturdy cardboard box.
Now, I had opted for gift wrapping of the order but this wasn’t done. I wasn’t too happy about this.
But I was too excited to bother about it I ripped the box open to immediately try out Deha’s organic chai. Let me tell you, it was amazing. It had a beautiful fragrance and I took all the time in the world to enjoy every sip.
Overall, I think Beveragewala is doing a great job. It has to sort out a few glitches here and there but it has just started and I am sure that in a couple of months the website will become perfect.
*The beverages were a PR sample but my review is honest as always
